Things have been weird lately..

That Japan post I had as a draft from a few days ago, this one is today’s real post.

I haven’t posted in a while for 2 reasons. Things have been insane here for the past few days (I’ll get to that in a second…) and.. my computer finally took it’s last breath.. The pc was smoking from the back and then it just stopped working. Wouldn’t turn on or anything.. Being as I am no longer under any warranty, I decided to open her up. The whole motherboard was fried. There’s no way I am getting this repaired.. I have NO clue what I am going to do.. My school is online and everything. Anyhow, now to why the last few days of my week we’re crap, I mean other than my computer not working.

My grandma is batshit insane. In respecting her privacy, I am not going to go into details but there’s a guy, let’s call him A. He did ‘bad’ things to my grandma and her friends when they were children. On Thursday, my grandparents were fighting and she was angry so she had went to her sister’s house to vent. She said bye to them but she never came home. Now, she had been drinking so this really worried me. Long story short, she spent all night trying to get arrested. She was at the police station trying to get them to arrest her. I do not no why.. Anyhow, yesterday.. she was all emotional and she went to A’s house and absolutely went INSANE. Cops were called and she was arrested for the night. She has to go to drug court and everything now..

Japan!

I really love Japan.. Everyt- Most things that I love originate there. Sushi, anime, video games, Japanese girls, just to name a few. I do want to move there in the future. I want to get my higher education here first though.

I also don’t want to just jump into a foreign country with no knowledge. So for the past few months I’ve been teaching myself the language and learning a lot about the history, after that I really need to look into what exactly they do. I mean in their free time. I have a few Japanese friends here on the internet and from what I can make out, they.. play video games.. Not even just the children and teenagers, it is such a big market there that it stretches to a lot of adults too! I am DEFINITELY not complaining at all about this, I love it!

For food they eat a lot of Onigiri and Sushi,  and Ramen. That sounds extremely racist, but this is what they have told me! I am also not complaining, I love Japanese cooking!

They seem to worship Cats. It is a huge stereotype here in America that everybody in the East eats them! That is 100% not true!! They LOVE cats! They have a whole island with JUST cats on it! It’s called Tashirojima and is an island off the coast of Kyushu I believe.. I could be wrong, I’ll look it up later. I have a cat and I actually named her Neki! It is short for Maneki Neko, which are these little statues or figures that shop owners put in front if their shops to bring good luck. They are almost always calico cats with 1 paw up, I thought the name was fitting because she is a calico! Here is a picture of her!

My Bamboo!

A couple months ago, I bought a bunch of Phyllostachys Edulis ‘Moso’ Bamboo seeds of off ebay. 100 to be exact. Out of all 100, only 3 sprouted.. 2 of which immediately dampened off.. Very dissapointing. Although, I do have one growing and I am absolutely spoiling it! I am trying very hard to make this a happy plant. 🙂 Here is a few pictures!

These were taken on 3 consecutive days. It is growing very fast!

I love plants but, I’ve always had kind of a black thumb. I decided this Spring that I wanted to grow some stuff.. All I have growing that hasn’t died is a potted Stonecrop, a potted Mint and this Bamboo. All on my windowsill! I hope these live.. Mint and Stonecrop are extremely hardy from what I heard, which is why I am growing them! Here is pics of both.

I hate being sick.

I am.. a night owl. After my last post, I fell asleep and woke up with a massive headache and a really messed up stomach..

I suffer from acute migraines about once every 2 weeks. It might not seem like a whole lot but, they sure are not comfortable. I also have ulcers that get irritated when I eat spicy foods or drink anything acidy.

I got my ulcers from when I was really young, I caught H. Pylori somehow, and I guess it never really goes away.. I mean, when it comes back, I just go to the ER and get antibiotics. I also used to worry. Worry a lot. I used to make myself puke from knowing that one day, I would have to die. Or you know, worry that World War 3 was gonna happen tomorrow.. just really weird stuff like that. One day, I just stopped it.. I visited psychiatrists and the pills made me worse. I visited therapists and honestly, it’s no different than what I am doing now.. Telling someone my problems. Anyhow, those 2 things combined gave me nasty ulcers that bleed very seldom but still do when I am careless and eat a lot of Mexican food and OJ.

Haha, I used to stay up all night during Summer when I was small too.. I remember one night, I turned on the Animal Planet and there was some show about parasites and how they like invade your nervous system and really just mess you up. For the next 3 weeks, I was scared to death that I had some parasite.

I really don’t worry that much anymore though. Now I realize that if one day I die, then I die. It’s not like I can change that. The best thing I can do is be cautious and watch my step. Although, that meteor or that bus won’t negotiate with me.. I can’t pay either to just skip me and hit the other guy instead.. haha.

Universe – Why it’s here. My opinion.

First of all, I believe very strongly that there was no beginning. The majority of people say that the Universe ‘had to be created’ or needs to have some ‘starting point’. When thinking of something as massive as the Universe and why it’s here, does there really have to be a rule book? Why does there honestly have to be a beginning? Can’t the Universe just exist? Also an end…

The same thing. Who says that the Universe has to end. I believe the Universe is eternal. The actual fabric of the Universe I mean. Now, our galaxies and planets may all cease to exist one day, it’s extremely possible and almost certain. Although, even if every single galaxy in the entire Universe hypothetically disappeared, the actual Universe itself would continue to exist.

Life, I imagine has always been here. It has, just as the Universe itself has. Sure there is a beginning to every individual’s life but, life itself could very well have always been here.

Now death, my opinion on what happens after death.. I believe that we lose our physical bodies but keep our ‘souls’. We lose all of our senses but still have a mind and kind of a thought process. We can travel between the astral and physical plane at will. In the physical plane, we can have no true contact with the actual flora or fauna except very minimally. Dreams being the most abundant. Psychics have honed the skill of communicating with the spirits. The spirits are able to communicate much, much easier with people who have psychic abilities. When people say that they see ghosts or shadows, I believe those are indeed spirits, trying to communicate.

Sure, this may sound like something out of a sci-fi novel or some fairy tale but, that is why I must state that these are my personal beliefs and you can take them however you want but, please don’t site this as a reliable source. This is all opinionative.

Hello Everyone!

Today I am beginning what I hope to be a long but, fruitful journey! I am beginning my blog! This will be EVERYTHING. Well.. everything that I find interesting or intriguing.

The main focus of this blog will be random thoughts in my mind or maybe rants and pet peeves I have on a certain subject.

One focus in particular I want to make note of, is Video Games. I absolutely love them, I grew up with them. I am part of a group of 4 gamers called the ‘Raging Stereotypes’. We just recently founded the group and are still way in the alpha stage of what we want to do… actually, all we really have is a name and some ideas that’ve been tossed around, haha! Anywho, the point I am trying to make is, Video Games are a big part of my life and I want to share it with you! Whether it be a huge drawn out ‘Let’s Play’ or just a review.

The internet itself has played a huge role in my life. After being rejected by everyone socially and mentally in my ‘real world’, I can always count on my friends, whom are international but mean the exact same to me as any local friends one may have, to count on. They are always there and always supportive. Who knows what I’d be doing in my free time without the internet..

Well, when I am not doing things around technology, it is usually my Japanese studies or my actual classes. I am a High School student and I am planning on getting my GED this January.. Now, you’re probably sitting there thinking I am absolutely insane and that I certainly should think of another route.. Well, I have my own personal reasons for this. Sorry to be so blunt but, that is how I feel. My academic advisor tells me that I can get my diploma anytime after my GED anyhow. I DO plan on attending a community college for 2 years and then moving up to a University or Institute. Thing about this is.. I HATE where I am living currently.. I really don’t want to live here longer than I have to. If I can, I would absolutely love to attend a community college up in Sacramento or maybe San Francisco.. Although SF is a tad far away for my age.. As much as I hate my city, my family is here… which brings me to my next topic.

My family.. oh god my family.. The most dysfunctional one EVER! I won’t go into details as that would turn this post into a novel. You’ll just have to take my word for it.

Anyhow everyone, this has been my introduction of sorts. I suppose I could do a post a day, maybe more if I feel the need for it. Thanks for reading and stay tuned!
